We are looking to expand our Caregiver family. We are looking to hire someone that can work with our clients, caregivers, and other office staff. Job Description
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Lead Caregiver supports the company’s goal of providing “continuity of care” for our clients. Your standby period is from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday but during this time, you are not required to remain at home, provided you are reachable and able to report to the worksite within one hour of being contacted. You will receive compensation for a full 40-hour workweek provided you have maintained availability for 40 hours during that week, regardless of the actual number of hours worked. If you can work any overnight or weekend shifts all hours worked beyond the 40 in a workweek will be compensated at the overtime rate.
This role begins immediately and will continue through March 31, 2026. Following that date, it may transition to a traditional caregiver position with scheduled shifts or remain in its current form, depending on organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
•Primary Role - Start new cases with clients
• Secondary Role - Fill shifts which are open due to call-offs
Skills and Qualifications
▫ C.N.A. certification
▫ 3+ years as a Caregiver preferred
▫ Covid vaccinated preferred
▫ Current negative TB Test
▫ CPR and First Aid Certified
▫ Reliable, efficient, and flexible
▫ Strong interpersonal and communication skills both orally and written
▫ Reliable car and up-to-date auto insurance
▫ Must be willing to drive throughout Montgomery, Howard, Prince George's, Baltimore and Howard County
▫ Should have a desire to teach others and have strong communication skills with building rapport with families and caregivers.
▫ Must be willing to work with either male or female clients. Personal care will be involved.
▫ Must be willing to work in a home where cigarette smoke is present for a short period of time.
▫ Must be willing to work around or in the same environment with pets. (e.g. cats, dogs, horses, birds, etc.)
